Window Locks
Window locks often go wrong – it doesn’t matter how old your door is we can source approximately 90% of all locks, be it a centre case or a full length multi-point lock.
Rubber Seals & Gaskets
If your gaskets have shrunk or perished, or if your windows are draughty, the rubber gaskets can be changed.
Hinges
90% of all draughts in double-glazing are caused by worn hinges, this is caused by a lack of compression. The hinges can be changed an come in a range of sizes to suit your window.
Handles
There is a vast array of window handles available in various finishes. All the window handles we use are key locking.
Window catching when opening or closing?
A lot of uPVC windows drop over time and catch at the bottom – making them stiff. This can be rectified by either, adjusting the hingers or, if there is not enough adjustment on the hinges, removing the glass or panel and adjusting the glass using the toe and heel process.

Glass Repairs
Why is my glass misted?
Double glazed units are traditionally manufactured with an aluminium frame containing silica beads (desiccant) sandwiched between two panes of glass and sealed with a polymer compound around the edges. Once the unit is sealed the silica beads (desiccant) remove all the moisture from within the unit providing a moisture free environment. Over time this external seal can deteriorate and let moist air seep into the double glazing unit itself. Any moist air entering will be absorbed until the silica beads (desiccant) become saturated and cannot retain any more water, at which point, the moisture will begin to appear as condensation. Because of the way double glazed units are made, it is not practical to repair the unit. The easiest and most cost effective way of dealing with this problem is to replace the double glazed unit. There is no need to change the whole window. We can just change the sealed unit at a fraction of the cost. It doesn’t matter whether it`s clear, leaded, coloured, bevelled, toughened safety glass they can all be changed.
